The Adjunct Phlebotomy Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction. The instructor will prepare students for successful completion of the Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam and entry-level employment in the healthcare field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach phlebotomy courses in accordance with curriculum standards and program objectives
- Provide hands-on instruction in venipuncture, capillary collection, infection control, safety, and patient care procedures
- Monitor student progress, attendance, and competency development
- Maintain accurate records and submit grades and reports in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all safety, accreditation, and institutional policies
- Support students in preparation for the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam
