Your Role
As a Nursing Instructor, you will inspire, educate, and guide students through classroom, laboratory, and clinical learning experiences. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality education aligned with California Board standards while fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver dynamic instruction in classroom, lab, and clinical settings
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum outcomes
- Evaluate student progress through exams, assignments, and hands-on assessments
- Provide academic advising and mentorship to support student success
- Create engaging skills lab experiences that build confidence and competence
- Maintain accurate student records (attendance, grades, evaluations)
- Collaborate with faculty and leadership to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies
- Support accreditation efforts and continuous program improvement
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment
Lab Instruction Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on lab sessions that promote active learning
- Ensure safety protocols and best practices are followed
- Encourage critical thinking, inquiry, and student engagement
