ADMIN CUM ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities

Accounts

  • Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Assist in monthly account closing and preparation of accounting schedules.
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents, including invoices, purchase orders, delivery orders, and payment records.
  • Assist with inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
  • Support GST reporting and ensure proper documentation for statutory compliance.
  • Assist external auditors by preparing supporting schedules and documents.

Administration

  • Handle general administrative duties, including filing, document management, and data entry.
  • Manage office correspondence, emails, telephone enquiries, and incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Prepare letters, reports, meeting minutes, and other administrative documents.
  • Maintain employee records and assist with basic HR administrative matters where required.
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments on administrative matters.
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative and accounting duties assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting and administrative support.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Singapore GST regulations.
  • Experience with accounting software such as MYOB, SAP, or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Well-organised, meticulous, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
