ADMIN CUM ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities
Accounts
- Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
- Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist in monthly account closing and preparation of accounting schedules.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents, including invoices, purchase orders, delivery orders, and payment records.
- Assist with inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
- Support GST reporting and ensure proper documentation for statutory compliance.
- Assist external auditors by preparing supporting schedules and documents.
Administration
- Handle general administrative duties, including filing, document management, and data entry.
- Manage office correspondence, emails, telephone enquiries, and incoming/outgoing mail.
- Prepare letters, reports, meeting minutes, and other administrative documents.
- Maintain employee records and assist with basic HR administrative matters where required.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments on administrative matters.
- Perform other ad-hoc administrative and accounting duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting and administrative support.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Singapore GST regulations.
- Experience with accounting software such as MYOB, SAP, or similar systems is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Well-organised, meticulous, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
