Summary

Handles school administrative tasks like printing, reception support, and office coordination in a Singapore-based school environment.

Main Duties: General Administration and Printing

  • Manage and process all printing requests from staff, ensuring the timely production of school materials and documents.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the printing room.
  • Monitor and replenish consumables for school printers to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Prepare, verify and organise documents for administrative purposes.
  • Compile, tabulate and submit monthly printing reports, including meter readings, printing usage records and related statistics.
  • Order and replenish printing supplies and other school consumables as required.
  • Provide front-line support at the school's General Office reception counter by attending to enquiries and requests from students, staff, parents and members of the public.
  • Handle incoming telephone calls professionally, including directing calls to the appropriate personnel or taking messages when necessary.
  • Provide administrative support through data collation, data entry, operation of office equipment and the use of relevant online systems.
  • Perform other general administrative duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Reporting Officer or School Leaders.

Working Hours

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 8:00am to 5:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break. Wednesdays: 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

The Personnel should possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Preferably possess a GCE 'N' Level or GCE 'O' Level qualification, or equivalent.
  • Able to operate office equipment, including printers, photocopiers and other office automation devices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant experience in general administrative duties, preferably in a school environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and computer literate.
  • At least one (1) year of working experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • A well-organised, meticulous and dependable team player with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask effectively, prioritise work and manage a wide range of administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
