Admin Support Executive / Law firm (12 Months Contract to Perm) - Central- $4000 (ID: 710055)
Brief Summary
Join the department within a legal team. and play a key role in supporting client operations, regulatory compliance, and administrative functions. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with government authorities, manage tax-related applications and filings, and contribute to efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with regulatory and government filings, ensuring accurate and timely correspondence with the relevant authorities.
- Liaise with government agencies and support the transition to the myTax Portal, including managing applications and related administrative matters with IRAS.
- Prepare and submit applications relating to Advance Rulings, Stamp Duty, GST, and other relevant tax incentives to the Economic Development Board (EDB).
- Conduct corporate and business registry searches through ACRA and perform client-specific research, particularly for ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs).
- Provide administrative support for corporate restructuring projects and maintain the team’s tax case book and related records.
- Monitor updates and announcements from relevant government authorities and ensure that all required filings and compliance matters are completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate case management of logistics, documentation, and other administrative requirements to support the team and meet client needs.
Requirements:
- Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Prior experience in a professional services, tax, legal, financial services, or regulatory environment is favorable.
- Familiarity with preparing and filing regulatory applications is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the capacity to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A proactive and flexible approach to working independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
