Mondays to Fridays: 9:15am to 6:15pm, inclusive of 1-hour lunch break

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Receptionist cum Administrative Support Officer to support the daily operations of the school's General Office. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and provide administrative, customer service, and operational support to ensure the smooth running of school activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the school's reception counter by welcoming and assisting visitors, including parents, students, staff, and delivery personnel.
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls professionally.
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and courier items.
Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, document preparation, laminating, and maintaining records.
Manage the collection and issuance of certificates, documents, uniforms, and lost-and-found items.
Update and maintain the school's intranet portal and administrative databases.
Coordinate room bookings, appointments, calendars, and ad hoc transport arrangements.
Serve as the school's designated Goods Receipt Officer and assist with inventory management.
Collect monthly utilities meter readings from canteen operators.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-stocked reception area, meeting rooms, visitor rooms, and sick bay.
Provide basic first aid support and coordinate communication with parents and emergency services when required.
Carry out any other administrative or operational duties assigned by the School Leaders, Administration Manager, or Operations Manager.
Requirements
Minimum N-Level qualification with passes in English and Mathematics.
Preferably O-Level, Higher Nitec, or equivalent.
At least 1 year of relevant experience working in an MOE school as a School Administrative Support Officer.
Good administrative, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Able to provide basic first aid support and remain calm under pressure.
Patient, caring, cheerful, and confident in dealing with a wide range of visitors.
Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced school environment.
