Role overview
The Member Admin Officer/Member Support Officer will be pivotal in shaping the student member experience from initial contact through their lifelong career membership. This involves creating a welcoming and supportive environment, ensuring students have access to necessary resources, and fostering a sense of belonging within the Groworx Academy community.
Key responsibility areas
Student member management
- Provide first-line support to Groworx Academy members, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Manage member registration, enrollment, and attendance records.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, and events.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to member information and program activities.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and communication.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective communication and workflow.
- Liaise with the marketing team to support promotional activities for the Academy.
- Counsel potential students on various course options, aligning them with the most suitable choices.
- Contribute to the overall growth and expansion of the Academy.
Lifelong career membership engagement
The Admin Support Officer/Member Support Officer will play a key role in nurturing lifelong relationships with members. This includes:
- Providing ongoing support and resources for career development.
- Keeping members informed about new opportunities and events.
- Celebrating member achievements and milestones.
- Encouraging alumni involvement and mentorship.
Building and engaging the member community
This role will focus on building and engaging the entire member community base. This includes:
- Facilitating networking opportunities among members.
- Organizing virtual and in-person community events.
- Creating communication channels for members to connect and share.
- Encouraging active participation in academy initiatives and programs.
- Gathering feedback and suggestions from members to continually improve the community experience.
Core responsibility
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the student member experience — spanning the student member management, lifelong career membership engagement, and community-building responsibilities detailed above.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in administrative, clerical, or office support roles is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Must amenable working Independent Contractor.
- Candidate must have own Laptop.
- Amenable to start ASAP.
