We are seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic and customer-focused professional to join our respected team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in office administration, medical reception or front-facing customer service who enjoys supporting both patients and clinicians in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
As an Administrative Clerk, you will play an important role in supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a professional and welcoming first point of contact for patients, visitors, clinicians and other stakeholders.
- Managing patient admissions, discharges and appointments in accordance with hospital procedures.
- Answering and directing telephone enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Performing a range of administrative duties, including data entry, filing, document management and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Coordinating and processing referrals, correspondence and other clinical documentation as required.
- Liaising effectively with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams to support the smooth delivery of patient care.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information in accordance with privacy legislation and Ramsay Health Care policies.
- Ensuring a high standard of customer service by responding to enquiries in a courteous, efficient and compassionate manner.
- Assisting with general office duties and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support a positive team culture and achieve departmental objectives.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a well-presented, proactive individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have a strong administrative background, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
You will also bring:
- Previous medical administration or healthcare reception experience (desirable).
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Experience collaborating with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient daily operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems.
- A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster.
- A willingness to learn, develop professionally and contribute positively to the team.
