Job Overview
The Administrative Manager will oversee the restaurant's back-office operations, ensuring smooth coordination between staff, suppliers, and management. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced F&B environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative operations, including scheduling, payroll support, and record-keeping
- Handle procurement and liaise with suppliers for ingredients and restaurant supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cost control
- Process invoices, receipts, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Support HR functions: staff onboarding, attendance tracking, and work-pass documentation (if applicable)
- Ensure compliance with licensing, food safety, and workplace regulations
- Coordinate between kitchen, floor staff, and management to ensure smooth daily operations
- Handle customer inquiries, reservations, or complaints when needed
- Prepare basic reports for management (sales summaries, expense tracking, etc.)
Requirements
- Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or management role (F&B experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Good communication skills; bilingual in English and Mandarin/Teochew is a plus (for supplier and staff communication)
- Ability to work on-site and occasionally during weekends or peak hours
- A proactive, hands-on attitude with attention to detail
