The company is an importer and wholesale distributor of industrial packaging. With over 30 years of operation, they have been providing high quality products and services to businesses across a wide range of industries comprising of Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transport and Construction amongst others.
In 2021, the company was acquired by a global leader in industrial packaging solutions. With recent growth in their operations, they are seeking an Administration Officer to support their local team based in Port Melbourne.
In this position, you will be required to perform all office administration activities including, but not limited to the following:
- Customer Service/Sales Support
- Data entry
- Invoicing
- Liaising with local customers and suppliers
- Organising Couriers
- Processing and coordinating sales and purchase orders
- Provide Administration support to Managers as required
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Proven experience in Administration/Customer Service
- Experience using MYOB to raise purchase orders and invoicing
- Good numeracy skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills with excellent interpersonal & communication skills (both written & verbal)
- Fantastic organisational skills and time management
- Proficient computer skills; including Microsoft Word, Excel & Office and MYOB
- Driver’s licence
- Available to commence immediately (preferred)
