Administration Support Officer - Aged Care at Home

Ozcare has a permanent part-time opportunity available for Administration Support Officers with our Gladstone Aged Care at Home Branch.
As a key member of our administration team, you'll play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our service. Acting as the first point of contact for clients, families, staff and visitors, you will provide professional reception and administrative support while helping our teams deliver exceptional home care services to older Australians. Your Role
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality administrative and customer service support in a busy and rewarding environment. Your ability to stay organised, communicate effectively and manage competing priorities will contribute to the smooth operation of the branch and the success of the wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing professional reception services and being the first point of contact for enquiries

Answering and directing telephone calls and responding to email enquiries

Managing incoming and outgoing mail and office correspondence

Providing accurate information regarding Ozcare services and supports

Preparing correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and other documentation

Maintaining accurate client, employee and organisational records

Filing, archiving and document management activities

Assisting with purchasing, stationery and office supply management

Supporting meetings, projects and administrative processes across the branch

Assisting with business systems, quality activities and operational administration requirements

Completing a range of general administration duties to support the delivery of high-quality care services

Role Requirements

Availability to work a varying schedule within a Monday to Wednesday roster is essential.

Current National Police Check (valid within the past three years) or willingness to obtain one

Current Queensland Driver Licence

Demonstrated experience in an administration, reception or business support role, or in a similar position with comparable responsibilities (candidates with extensive background & experience are highly desirable).

Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and ensure responsibilities are completed on time

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
