Administration Support Officer - Residential Care

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Administration Support Officer to provide administrative and reception support within our Residential Aged Care facility at Clontarf. This position is primarily rostered to work Saturday's and Sunday's, with additional weekday shifts available to cover planned and unplanned staff absences, including annual leave, personal leave and RDOs.Your RoleWorking as part of a supportive administration team, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and professional administrative services while maintaining a welcoming and responsive front-of-house presence.Key responsibilities include:Managing reception operations and responding to telephone, email and face-to-face enquiriesProviding exceptional customer service to residents, families, visitors and external stakeholdersCoordinating incoming and outgoing correspondence, mail and documentationAssisting with roster administration and staffing coordinationMaintaining accurate resident, staff and organisational records in accordance with legislative and organisational requirementsPreparing reports, correspondence and other administrative documentationSupporting compliance, accreditation and quality management processesProcessing invoices, purchasing and other general administrative tasks as requiredProviding information regarding Ozcare services and responding to enquiries in a professional and timely mannerContributing to a positive and collaborative team environmentYour AttributesWe're looking for an organised and proactive administration professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding service.To be successful, you will have:Availability to work Saturday and Sunday, with flexibility to provide weekday coverage for staff leave and roster requirementsAbility to adapt to changing rostering needs in a dynamic residential aged care environmentPrevious experience in an administrative or reception roleExperience with rostering / scheduling and the availability to work a rotating rosterStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding organisational and time management abilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in record keepingA professional and courteous telephone mannerThe ability to work autonomously and effectively prioritise competing tasksWell-developed problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsA positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team-focused environmentExperience within residential aged care or a healthcare setting will be highly regardedHow You'll BenefitBy joining Ozcare, you'll become part of a values-driven organisation committed to supporting both our clients and our people.In addition to ongoing training and support, you'll enjoy:$46.36 per hour + Shift Penalty RatesPrivate health insurance discountsUniform and laundry allowanceEmployee Assistance ProgramCareer development and learning opportunitiesA supportive team culture where your contribution is valuedRole RequirementsCurrent National Police Certificate valid within the past 3 years (or willingness to obtain)Mandatory annual influenza vaccination + provide evidence you've previously received a minimum of 1-dose of the COVID-19 vaccination (or are willing to obtain it if successful).Current Open Class Queensland Driver LicenceEquivalent experience in a similar or identical role (preferably 2-3 years prior experience)Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriatelyAbout OzcareAt Ozcare, our people are our greatest asset.
