Job Summary

Join Wolfgang Violin Studio as a full-time Administrative and Accounts Executive to support financial operations and administrative functions, ensuring accurate reporting and efficient processes in a dynamic music education environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely submission of reports for management review
  • Process payroll, calculate CPF contributions, and manage quarterly GST submissions and income tax filings to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Calculate monthly sales commissions, consolidate financial data, and update databases for precise financial tracking
  • Generate financial reports as requested by management to support informed decision-making
  • Utilize technology and software tools to enhance work efficiency and streamline financial processes
  • Manage work pass applications and maintain communications with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) to ensure compliance with employment regulations
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules, manage inventory codes, and reorder supplies to support uninterrupted operations
  • Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to provide prompt and accurate responses to inquiries and oversee fee collection processes
  • Review and propose relevant government grants periodically and manage the grant application process to secure funding opportunities
  • Identify and explore engagement opportunities with various government agencies to support business growth
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Management to support overall finance and administrative functions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel, to support daily administrative and financial tasks
  • Comfortable using workplace technology and software such as EPOS, Metro, Favour, and Carbonate; knowledge of these is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with IFRS 116 accounting standard is preferred to enhance accounting accuracy and compliance
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong work ethics to contribute effectively to the team
  • Ability to work professionally and resourcefully both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficient in written and spoken English to communicate clearly within the organization and with external stakeholders
