Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant Intern learns how a healthcare organization operates behind the scenes while supporting administrative and office functions. The intern works alongside Pathways Health Partners team members to gain real-world experience in organization, communication, technology, and professional workplace skills. No healthcare experience is required. Training is provided for all assigned tasks.

The Job at a Glance

Location:

Pathways Health Partners Administrative Office, 700 W Main Street, Leesburg, Florida, or one of our clinics.

Hours:

8-15 hours per week, scheduled around class commitments.

Length:

One semester with the option to extend based on performance and department needs.

Supervisor:

Assigned supervisor with regular check-ins, guidance, and support.

Compensation:

Unpaid Internship

What you will do:

Scan, organize, and file documents. Enter information into spreadsheets and databases and verify accuracy. Prepare educational, training, and informational materials. Assist with reports, presentations, and administrative projects. Help organize electronic files and records. Support scheduling, meeting preparation, and meeting notes. Occasionally make phone calls using approved scripts and guidance. Assist with special projects and team initiatives as assigned.
