Administrative Associate II

Summary

Provides front-desk and administrative support at a church headquarters, handling calls, visitor inquiries, and office tasks.

Starting Range: $16.84/hourly to $19.37/hourly.

The United Pentecostal Church International is currently recruiting for the position of Administrative Associate II within Church Administration. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support and answer inquiries and/or provide information to the public, ministers, and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Reception:
    • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the proper person or ministry.
    • Meet and greet visitors to UPCI World Headquarters, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destination.
    • Analyze requests to determine answers to questions and provide answers based on approved guidelines.
    • Transmit information to the public, ministers, or other staff using the telephone, computer, mail, or fax machine.
    • Receive deliveries and communicate with employees to pick up, as needed.
    • Organize and maintain a neat and clean reception area and lobby area.
  • Human Resources:
    • Maintain and update employee newsletter and digital signage.
    • Assisting with onboarding employees.
    • Responsible for van and gaming reservations for the building on Outlook Calendar.
    • Maintain and update employee listings and send status updates related to training, employee morale, etc.
    • Provide additional support to Human Resources by performing day-to-day administrative tasks, as needed.
  • General:
    • Respond to requests within one business day and follow up on items that take longer.
    • Maintain a neat and clean snack area in the cafeteria.
