ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
You will serve as an Administrative Officer in the Systems Directorate, Code 550200, Division of NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
You will manage complex administrative or technical programs by analyzing and resolving sensitive, high-impact organizational issues.
You will plan and execute project tasks, adapting established methods to solve unique operational problems and establish new standards.
You will interpret general policy guidelines and exercise initiative to develop innovative solutions for complex scenarios.
You will build collaborative partnerships across internal teams and external organizations to coordinate complex initiatives and improve operational workflows.
You will partner directly with customers and stakeholders to assess their program needs and design tailored strategies to achieve their goals.
You will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and expert advisory support to team members and specialists across the organization.
You will design and implement streamlined administrative processes to reduce costs, save time, and optimize program resources.
You will promote and maintain high-quality, customer-focused support services to ensure user satisfaction across programs.
You will ensure all program activities maintain full compliance with workplace safety standards, equal opportunity regulations, and organizational policies.
You may supervise lower-level staff by managing daily work assignments, identifying professional development needs, and completing administrative personnel actions.
