ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (TITLE 32)

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D3031000 and is part of the IL ANGHQ, National Guard.

As a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (TITLE 32), GS-0341-12, you will provide subject matter expertise, leadership, consultation, collaboration, and advisory services essential to the direction and efficient operation of the organization. Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Serve as the principal advisor to the Director of Staff Air (DOSA) and senior leadership on all matters related to organizational management, operational readiness, and strategic initiatives. Provide executive-level support to the DOSA by analyzing organizational challenges, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending actionable solutions to enhance mission success. Represent the DOSA in high-level meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including state and federal agencies, civic organizations, and military leadership, ensuring the organization's priorities and objectives are clearly communicated and understood. Facilitate communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Conduct comprehensive assessments of current processes, identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to address organizational challenges and improve mission readiness. Oversee the management of organizational programs and resources, ensuring compliance with National Guard Bureau (NGB) policies, state regulations, and organizational directives.

This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the Illinois National Guard and in the military grade listed in the announcement.
