Central Louisiana State Hospital, located in Pineville, Louisiana, is seeking applicants for a vacant position as an Administrative Program Specialist B who coordinates multiple administrative and environmental functions for the five Offices of State Healthcare Facilities, which consist of approximately 548 buildings statewide and 2,905,701 total square feet of buildings.
The Administrative Program Specialist B plays a vital role for the Louisiana Department of Health in the Behavioral Health community by utilizing CLSH’s values and mission to deliver quality and effective care to our patients and ensuring our facilities are maintained accordingly. The hospital is highly committed to cooperative work with other state agencies and with the state and regional mental health program to ensure the integration and coordination of hospital-community services into a comprehensive system of mental health care.

- Four years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Specification

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Serves as the point of contact/liaison for OSCHF with DOA Facility Planning & Control. Monitors progress of multiple construction,
maintenance, and acquisition projects (73 currently) throughout the state across all five facilities, with a current value of $60,514,082. - Liaison with OPH Sanitarian services and regional Sanitarian staff concerning project requirements.
- Coordinates a diverse project portfolio: tracking contracts with external private contractors; monitoring project schedules; and
ensuring facilities are following through on their given directives, projects are staying within budget, are completed on time, and reporting on
the status of projects. - Represents OSCHF at parish emergency preparedness meetings. Coordinates the emergency preparedness program across all five
facilities, ensuring their plans are created, reviewed, approved, and followed when used. - Supports the supervisor as needed in coordinating property control across all five facilities.
