Job Description: The Administrative Services Coordinator is accountable to the Manager, Addiction Services, for the provision of administrative services by effectively and efficiently managing administrative matters which support the day-to-day operation of Addictions Services (AS). These services include preparation and planning of the AS budget, preparing financial forecasts, managing the administrative support staff, managing personnel procedures and participating in the AS Management Committee.
Education
- Business Administration diploma (DBA)
- Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Experience
- Three to Five years related experience including in a supervisory capacity
Knowledge & Abilities:
- Knowledge in computer programming.
- Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with employees.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with the general public.
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prepare reports in a clear, concise and timely manner.
- Ability to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
- Ability to provide leadership in an ever-changing environment.
- Demonstrated capacity to prepare budgets, incl. controlling, monitoring & forecasting.
- Knowledge of labor legislation, union agreements and grievance procedures.
- Proven ability to manage staff, define roles, assess performance and training.
- Knowledge of procedures and policies governing a community mental health site.
