ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Global Deterrence & Defense Department (GX), Missile Systems Hardware and Test Division (GXW), Project Management Branch (GXWP) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).

You will provide program leadership for workload within the Project Management Branch within the Missile Systems Hardware and Test Division.

You will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplined team of engineers, logisticians, and technicians to ensure operational programmatic issues associated with the effective mission execution of operations are resolved.

You will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting technical requirements, developing and defending the program budget, and ensuring project execution.

You will serve as the single Point of Contact for all program stakeholders, and be responsible for interfacing with multiple technical branches and primes.

You will be required to participate in technical exchanges, program reviews, and other technical and programmatic meetings with Prime Contractors, program office leadership, and other government and industry organizations and customers.
