Administrator - Projects and Education

My Luton based client is actively seeking a dedicated Administrator to play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of both the Projects and Education functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities, contributing to the efficient planning, coordination, monitoring, and administration of projects and educational programmes with the ability to work towards tight deadlines.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide proactive administrative support across both the Projects and Education functions.
- Manage shared inboxes and respond to enquiries appropriately.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, preparing agendas, producing minutes or action records, and supporting timely follow-up.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, minutes, action logs, summaries, and other documents using appropriate digital tools.
- Maintain accurate databases, records, filing systems, and document libraries.
- Support the production of management reports and monitoring information/data.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements.
- Assist with project-related events, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support the Head of Education with administration across the education portfolio.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in maintaining databases or CRM systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively across multiple workstreams.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in coordinating meetings, producing minutes, and managing actions.
- Good understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Awareness of the ethical use of digital and AI-assisted tools.
- A proactive, flexible, and professional approach to work.
- Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent, with passes in GCSE English and Mathematics.
