Admissions Advisor — Cambridge & AEIS Programmes

At Stalford Academy, admissions is more than guiding families through an application—it is about helping parents and students make one of the most important decisions in a child’s education. We are looking for a thoughtful, dependable and people-oriented Admissions Advisor who can listen carefully, explain clearly and guide each family towards the pathway that best suits the student.

About Stalford Academy

Stalford Academy is a Singapore private education institution based at NTU@one-north, offering the Cambridge International curriculum from Year 1 to Year 12, alongside AEIS preparation, GCE O-Level and A-Level programmes. Many of the families who walk through our door are at a genuine crossroads — an international family choosing a curriculum, or a student with one AEIS attempt left. A wrong choice of school costs them far more than money; it costs a year of a child's education. We take that seriously, and we are looking for someone who will too.

The role

You are the first person a prospective family meets. You will guide parents and students through our programmes, help them work out which pathway genuinely fits the child, and take them from first enquiry through to enrolment. This is a consultative role, not a scripted one — the families who trust us are the ones who felt properly listened to.

Full training is provided on our curriculum, admissions criteria and systems. Fresh graduates and mid-career professionals are both welcome to apply — we care more about how you listen than about your years of experience or the industry you are coming from.

What you will do

  • Attend to enquiries from parents and students across walk-ins, phone, WhatsApp, email and our website, responding promptly and warmly.
  • Conduct consultations that map a student's background, level and goals to the right programme — Cambridge Primary/Lower Secondary, IGCSE, AS/A-Level, AEIS preparation, or Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level and A-Level.
  • Explain admissions requirements, placement assessments, fee structures and timelines clearly, so families can make an informed decision.
  • Follow up consistently on enquiries and open applications until the family reaches a decision, either way.
  • Guide families through the application process — placement tests, documentation, contracts and payment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our overseas education agents and partners; support their enquiries, keep them updated on programmes and intakes, and coordinate student referrals through to enrolment.
  • Represent Stalford at open houses, education fairs, roadshows and school visits.
  • Maintain accurate enquiry, application and enrolment records, and prepare regular intake reports.
  • Work closely with our academic and student affairs teams so that every student who enrols is handed over properly.

What we are looking for

  • Diploma or above, in any discipline. Fresh graduates and mid-career professionals changing industries are equally welcome — if you have spent years looking after customers or clients somewhere else, that experience counts here.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin — essential for advising Chinese-speaking parents and students and for working with our overseas partners.
  • Genuine patience and care for parents and students. Families arrive anxious, sometimes with limited time and few options. You need to be the calm, honest voice in the room.
  • Comfortable guiding a family towards a decision, including telling them when a programme is not the right fit for their child.
  • Organised and reliable in following up — most enrolments are won or lost in the follow-up, not the first meeting.
  • Confident with everyday tools: Word, Excel, WhatsApp Business, email.
  • Prior experience in education, admissions, customer service, hospitality or a client-facing role is an advantage, but is not required.

Working arrangements

  • Based at our NTU@one-north campus — a 5-minute walk from one-north MRT (CC23) and close to Buona Vista MRT (EW21 / CC22).
  • Monday to Friday 9.00am – 6.00pm, plus Saturday 9.00am – 1.00pm.
  • This is a 5.5-day week. We roster the team so that individual staff work toward a 5-day week wherever coverage allows.
  • Saturdays matter because that is when working parents can visit us — it is one of the most rewarding days to be on the front line, and the day most enrolment conversations actually happen.

What we offer

  • Full training on the Cambridge, AEIS, O-Level and A-Level pathways — you will finish your first year genuinely knowledgeable about Singapore's education routes.
  • A small team where you own the whole family relationship from first call to enrolment, rather than one slice of it.
  • Admissions here is a team effort — the teachers who ran the trial lesson and the student affairs colleague who called the parent back all contributed to that enrolment, so the incentive is shared across the team rather than fought over. We are not asking you to close families who should not be here.
  • Clear progression into senior admissions and marketing roles as the academy grows.
  • CPF, annual leave, medical benefits and staff education benefits.

Interested candidates are invited to submit their CVs to [careers@stalford.edu.sg] for consideration. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
