Description
We are seeking an AEM Front-End Developer on an off-roll engagement with approximately 3 years of experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining responsive web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The resource will be responsible for building reusable front-end components, implementing pixel-accurate responsive interfaces, and ensuring performance, accessibility, and cross-browser quality across AEM-based digital properties.
The candidate will work closely with AEM backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, accessible, and performance-optimized digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive, reusable front-end components and templates in Adobe Experience Manager.
- Build user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern front-end development techniques.
- Implement AEM components using HTL (Sightly), integrating with Sling Models and backend services as required.
- Create and manage AEM client libraries (clientlibs) including CSS/JS dependencies, categories and embed structures.
- Develop responsive, mobile-first layouts compatible across browsers, devices and screen sizes.
- Translate Figma / Adobe XD design prototypes into pixel-accurate implementations in collaboration with UI/UX designers.
- Optimize website performance by reducing unnecessary JavaScript/CSS payload, improving asset loading and implementing lazy loading where appropriate.
- Adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG), SEO best practices and front-end coding guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects, browser compatibility issues and production incidents.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components with AEM content structures and services.
- Maintain code quality, reusability, documentation and adherence to established development standards.
