Adoption Manager, Legal AI

Open 24d

Saga is a legal innovation company on a mission to remove the friction between legal expertise and real-world impact, so lawyers can focus on what matters most: people, ethics, and impact. Founded in Norway and built for the legal profession from day one, we integrate with local legal sources across multiple jurisdictions and are currently available in 12 languages. In just 18 months, we've grown to 70+ employees and 5,000+ users across 20+ countries - with market leadership in Norway and the Netherlands, and active expansion across Europe. We believe technology shouldn't replace legal reasoning, but strengthen it - so the law can work as it's meant to: aligned, accountable, and capable of delivering justice for everyone.

Your role as Adoption Manager
As we grow, we're looking for someone to drive adoption across the Benelux and become a familiar face in the Dutch legal community. You'll be based out of our Amsterdam office, with regular travel to client sites for on-location training.

You train lawyers, and you play a real part in how law firms and legal departments actually adopt AI. This isn't generic software onboarding - it works because you understand how legal work is done. You know how a lawyer thinks, what a partner will push back on, and where legal reasoning can't be shortcut. That credibility is what gets a room of skeptical associates to actually change how they work.

You deliver our training and adoption programme for new clients: sessions that run on location, over weeks or months depending on the firm, covering how our AI platform works and directing it effectively, and how lawyers can break their own work into pieces AI can handle. Some rooms hold a handful of people, others hold sixty. You'll start with a structured onboarding into our platform, methodology, and delivery style, so you're set up to run sessions independently from day one - and you'll keep sharpening the programme as you go.

The hard part isn't convincing lawyers AI is useful, most already think so. It's helping them change habits built over years of practice, which takes more than one good session.

Training is the core of the role and grows as we grow. Around it, you work inside SagaLab, within Legal Engineering, where you break down how legal work is actually done and rebuild it into structured, scalable processes that AI can support and improve. Your work moves across the full spectrum: hands-on collaboration with clients to understand real problems, close work with engineers to prototype and refine solutions, and deep-focus work designing workflows that hold up in practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver our training and adoption programme on location at client organisations across the Benelux

  • Adapt each session to the room: practice area, seniority, and how far along the client already is

  • Run structured check-ins that surface what's working and what isn't once lawyers start using the platform

  • Build and improve the training materials, so the programme gets sharper with every client

  • Support Sales and Legal Engineering with client-facing sessions where legal background matters

  • Work closely with Product and Legal Engineering, bringing back what users experience: bugs, feature requests, and what they need to work better

  • Guide lawyers through breaking down their own workflows and rebuilding them with AI

What you'll bring

  • A legal education and practice experience as a lawyer, jurist, or legal counsel, across different types of legal work

  • Confidence in front of a room, with the presence to hold the attention of partners and associates alike

  • Practical AI fluency, you already use AI tools in your own work and are eager to experiment and learn

  • The ability to explain technical concepts in plain language, and legal reasoning to engineers

  • A structured way of working: you prepare well, follow through, and close the loop with the team

  • Willingness to travel across the Benelux, roughly half a day per training including travel

  • Fluency in Dutch (native-level speaker), since trainings are delivered in Dutch, and English

Why join Saga

We're a team of lawyers, engineers, designers, and builders across multiple countries, with a startup mindset - flexible, fast-moving, and focused on what matters. We don't believe in rigid structures or unnecessary processes, but we do believe in discipline: showing up consistently, following through, and holding ourselves to a high standard. Outside of work, many of us are active in sports: running, skiing, hiking - not as a mandate, but because we're drawn to the same mindset sport builds: consistency, resilience, and a long-term view. If you thrive in a flat, high-ownership environment, you'll feel right at home.

  • A salary between €3,500 and €5,000 gross per month (all-inclusive, based on a 40-hour week), negotiable depending on experience and skill set

  • 27 paid vacation days and a budget for conferences, courses, and certifications

  • Remote-first culture with connection hubs in Amsterdam and Oslo

  • An international team that moves fast, thinks clearly, and builds with care

  • A role that deepens as we grow, with training becoming a larger part of what we do and your expertise growing with it

  • Direct line to Product and Legal Engineering, where what you hear in the room changes the roadmap

  • Autonomy to build, experiment, and shape the programme with direct impact on client success

  • A way to use your legal expertise in front of the profession rather than behind a desk
