· NA

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 18 years of age

· CNA or CMA preferred but experience may be applied to this requirement

License/

Certification:

· Maintain Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation, Ethics, Sexual Harassment, Emergency Preparedness, Vehicle Orientation, HIPPA, Bloodborne Pathogens, AP/SP/CI, Supportive Healthy Living and OSHA trainings and CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration and Mandt certifications

· Valid Kansas Driver’s License with good driving record

Education:

· Minimum of High School Diploma/GED

Position Summary:

· Provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities who, with assistance from staff, receive medical care and treatment that will enhance their lives

· Services are provided on an individual basis with the attention given to the client’s specific health concerns, interests and needs

· Staff will be available to provide a variety of services and supports to meet client’s goals

Skills:

· Ability to read and interpret/understand documents

· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

· Ability to perform simple math

· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables and exhibit rational decision-making

· Ability to interpret and carry-out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form

· Ability to work as a team
