As an Advanced Analytics Manager, you will support CommBank Yello, our customer recognition program, by using advanced analytics to improve personalised, one-to-one communications. You will combine customer data, modelling and commercial judgement to help customers engage with the program, maintain eligibility and access more relevant experiences.

You will join the Retail Advanced Analytics & Data team, working closely with the Yello product team and partners across marketing, product and technology.
This is a senior individual contributor role where you will act as a trusted technical mentor for analysts and senior analysts.
In this role, you will:
Design and optimise personalised customer communications using segmentation, propensity modelling, scoring and decisioning techniques.
Translate complex or ambiguous business needs into structured analytical approaches, measurable outcomes and practical recommendations.
Use Python and related analytical tools to automate manual processes and improve the efficiency, quality and repeatability of everyday work.
Develop Power BI reporting and self-service analytics that help stakeholders access insights and make informed decisions.
Identify practical opportunities to embed AI into analytics, reporting and customer communications, supported by responsible data use and human judgement.
Partner with product, marketing and technology stakeholders to connect customer behaviour with relevant engagement strategies.
Guide colleagues through technical challenges, share knowledge and strengthen analytical capability across the team.
Work effectively in a dynamic environment where products, tools and analytical techniques continue to evolve.

You are an experienced analytics professional who combines strong technical capability with strategic thinking, curiosity and sound judgement. You can see the bigger picture, communicate complex findings clearly and support others to build confidence in their craft.
You will bring:
Advanced Python skills, with experience automating analytical processes and solving complex business problems.
Strong experience in customer analytics, predictive or propensity modelling, personalised targeting, scoring or campaign optimisation.
Experience using Power BI or comparable visualisation tools to create accessible reporting and self-service analytical solutions.
The ability to frame problems, define success measures and translate analysis into clear recommendations for varied stakeholders.
A collaborative approach to mentoring, knowledge transfer and providing practical technical guidance to colleagues.
Strategic and critical thinking, with the resilience to navigate uncertainty and changing priorities.
Experience applying AI to analytics or process improvement is valued. Financial services experience is not essential where your skills are transferable.
