Description
About the Position: Serve as an Advanced Practice Nurse with the Department of Defense at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Bragg, NC. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of emergency patients.
Provide direct patient care to pediatric and adult patients through evaluation, examination, diagnosis, and treatment of medical disorders.
Order and interpret laboratory test, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
Coordinate emergency patient care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Determine patient disposition, including admission, transfer, discharge, or specialty referral.
Prescribe and administer medications in accordance with clinical privileges, policies, and regulations.
Respond to life-threatening emergencies and initiate appropriate interentions.
