About the Position: This position is located at the Naval Branch Health Clinic, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego, CA in the Directorate of Medicine, Family Medical Team One (PCMH) Recruitment or relocation incentives MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Advance Leave Accrual MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. Salary Negotiation MAY be authorized for highly qualified candidates. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
Administer health care service in an outpatient setting in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Obtain and document detailed patient history and physical exam.
Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity to patient and family member rights as defined by NMCSD.
Perform mental health assessment and provide behavioral interventions.
Establish a preliminary or final dignonsis with appropriate treatment.
Manage patient treatment using a variety of therapeutic modalities to include medication, counseling, support services, and other ancillary medical supplies.
Promote preventative and health maintenance care.
Document patient health care files and appropriate forms as designated by the medical treatment facility.
