Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner)

About the Position: This position is with Family medicine clinic located within the Blanchfield Army Hospital. Office: A dedicated workstation with computer access with EHR MH GENESIS. Ambient Listening AI platform. Team Culture: Active communication across the team with a focus on patient safety, shared mental models, and mutual support. Hours: 0730-1600 M-F. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Conduct collaborative care assessment, diagnosis and management of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Educate patients and their families regarding healthcare processes and diagnostic tests.

Consult and collaborate with physicians regarding patient management, to include evaluating and revising therapeutic plans and managing high-risk, unstable, or extremely complex patients.

Develop, review, and update policies, protocols, standards of care, operating procedures, and scope of practice, in collaboration with multidisciplinary members of the healthcare team.

Serve as project lead or associate in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of healthcare and trauma programs.

Order and interpret related laboratory and diagnostic tests; prescribe medications; and initiate emergency care.
