Kidney Specialists of South Texas is expanding and seeking passionate Advanced Practice Providers to join their dynamic team.

Preferred backgrounds – internal medicine exposure or nephrology experience is preferred, but not required.
Comprehensive training provided – online modules, mentorship, and check-ins scheduled to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology.

Office location: 1521 S Staples St Ste 601 Corpus Christi, Texas 78404

Hiring Package:

Starting salary of 120,000, with productivity incentive
Full Time Benefits + 3 weeks PTO

Schedule/Practice Details:

Dialysis limited visits
Outpatient clinic
No call expectations

Qualifications:

Master’s degree program in nursing or physician assistant studies with a nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements

Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.

Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.

Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.

Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.

Knowledge of documentation in medical records in confidential manner.
