Job Summary:

The Advanced Product Sales Agent is part of the Product Sales & Services (PSS) Department, delivering an Experience of a Lifetime by providing exceptional guest service while working across various lines of Product Sales business including tickets, passes, ski and snowboard lessons, activities, childcare, and more. Service is the foundation of everything we stand for at Vail Resorts, and our Product Sales team plays a critical role in bringing that commitment to life. As the face of Vail Resorts, these team members create seamless, memorable moments for our guests—serving as the gateway to every epic adventure across our resorts.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $26.88/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver elevated, personalized guest experiences by creating meaningful connections and consistently modeling Vail Resorts’ commitment to Epic Service.
  • Serve as a trusted expert across all PSS business lines—including tickets, passes, Ski & Ride School, activities, and related offerings—confidently guiding guests through complex decisions and scenarios.
  • Take ownership of the guest experience by resolving escalated, non-routine, or complex issues with sound judgment, empathy, and a solution-focused approach.
  • Embrace and represent the resort brand and culture in every step of the guest journey from purchase to wayfinding to departure.
  • Support the success of the team by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and informally mentoring peers to strengthen overall service delivery.
  • Seamlessly navigate multiple lines of business, balancing speed, accuracy, and exceptional service in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
  • Execute accurate and efficient point-of-sale transactions, including profile management, payments, adjustments, exchanges, and order fulfillment, with a high level of accountability.
  • Handle cash (where applicable) and electronic transactions responsibly, following all policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Enhance the guest experience by proactively recommending tailored products, services, and upgrades that align with guest needs and maximize their resort experience.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate professionally across channels—including in person, phone, and email—with guests, travel partners, property teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a key connector across departments, coordinating with leadership and operational teams to ensure seamless resolution of guest needs and service recovery situations.
  • Maintain deep, up-to-date knowledge of resort products, policies, and operations, serving as a reliable resource for both guests and team members.
  • Contribute to a high-performing, organized environment by ensuring workspaces are clean, prepared, and optimized for efficient service.
  • Promote a safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members by remaining aware of operational conditions and addressing or escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, accountability, and a team-first mindset by supporting evolving business needs and performing other duties as assigned.
  • Support daily setup and teardown of PSS locations, including pulling reports, organizing signage and stanchions, and ensuring spaces are properly prepared and secured.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Experience working in customer service or ticket sales preferred
  • Flexibility to work both inside and outside with exposure to the elements
  • Adherence to safety standards and procedures as a core company value.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs

An Advanced Product Sales agent is a team member who is a flexible employee who will work across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

  • Mountain Activities
  • Ticket Sales
  • Pass Sales
  • Call Centers
  • Ski and Ride Schools

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
