This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Advanced Software Engineer based in United States.

This role combines full-stack software engineering with deep data expertise to build enterprise solutions supporting scientific, laboratory, and business intelligence applications.
You will design and maintain scalable applications, APIs, data pipelines, and analytics solutions across modern cloud and data environments.
The position offers an opportunity to work across .NET, AWS, Angular, SQL, ETL, and enterprise data platforms.
You will transform complex datasets into reliable, actionable solutions that support operational performance and informed business decisions.
The role involves close collaboration with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
You will contribute to engineering quality through clean code, testing, code reviews, CI/CD practices, troubleshooting, and technical best practices.
This is a full-time role with remote work available in the United States and approximately 10% travel.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and AWS services.
  • Build scalable, secure APIs, backend services, and data-centric applications that support complex business and operational requirements.
  • Develop responsive web interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and other modern web technologies.
  • Analyze, process, and manage large and complex datasets from multiple sources while maintaining data quality and reliability.
  • Design and implement data models, ETL processes, integrations, and data pipelines with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Develop reporting and analytics solutions that transform data into actionable business insights.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested software following established engineering standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to software design, architecture, testing, and development best practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and cloud-native development practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, data issues, and production incidents.
  • Contribute to modern architecture initiatives involving microservices, event-driven systems, APIs, and scalable enterprise platforms.
  • Requirements:

    • Bring at least 5 years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on engineering expertise.
    • Demonstrate strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core, along with experience building data-centric applications.
    • Have advanced SQL skills and experience with enterprise databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
    • Have hands-on experience with ETL and data integration technologies such as SSIS, AWS Glue, or similar platforms.
    • Bring experience developing reporting solutions with SSRS, Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or comparable analytics technologies.
    • Have practical experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, and cloud-based data solutions.
    • Demonstrate proficiency with modern web development frameworks and experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
    • Understand software design patterns, object-oriented design, source control, and modern software engineering practices.
    • Have experience with tools such as Git, Visual Studio, VS Code, and Jira.
    • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
    • Experience with microservices architecture, domain-driven design, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps practices is preferred.
    • Experience with NGRX, RxJS, NX, Micro-Frontend architectures, GraphQL, event-driven architecture, or SOA is a plus.
    • Exposure to machine learning, predictive analytics, AI-driven solutions, or AI-assisted coding is desirable.
    • Experience with Ruby on Rails and Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
    • Be equally comfortable developing high-quality .NET software and working across complex data ecosystems to translate data into business value.
    • Benefits:

      • Annual U.S. salary range of $116,800 to $219,000 USD, depending on work location, role level, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
