Advanced Software Engr
Summary
Develops high-performance embedded/industrial software in C++ for aerospace/automation systems, focusing on multi-threading, RTOS, and real-time performance.
Perform deep exploratory, scenario-based, and end-to-end validation across interconnected repositories, ensuring business flow correctness, usability, deployment confidence, and production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create and execute manual integration test plans and traceable test cases.
2. Validate end-to-end workflows across:
3. MQTT gateway interactions
4. OPC UA explorer/data broker communication
5. adapter and installer behavior
6. redundancy/failover and recovery user-impact scenarios
7. Perform exploratory testing, edge-case testing, and release candidate certification.
Execute installer/deployment checks:
1. fresh install, upgrade, rollback, config persistence
2. Verify logs, error handling, and operational behavior under failure conditions.
3. Raise high-quality defects with reproducible evidence, impact, and priority.
4. Collaborate with automation/dev teams to convert repeatable cases into automation backlog.
Required Skills
1. Strong experience in manual system/integration testing for complex products.
2. Ability to interpret technical behavior in C#/C++/Python-backed systems.
3. Hands-on with test case design, RTM, defect lifecycle, and release sign-off.
4. Experience validating distributed environments (Windows/Linux) and service dependencies.
5. Good command of protocol/API behavior validation and result interpretation.
6. Clear documentation and stakeholder communication.
Security & Quality (Must)
1. Validate auth/access controls and role boundary behaviors.
2. Verify negative input handling and safe error responses.
3. Confirm operational security basics in execution flows (e.g., HTTPS/TLS-only paths where applicable).
4. Ensure no sensitive data appears in UI/errors/log captures used for reporting.
Preferred
Industrial/IoT middleware testing exposure.
Installer and enterprise deployment test experience.
Basic scripting to support repeatable setup/data preparation.
