Advanced Vehicle Prototyping & Validation Engineer
Objective\:
Realize and validate innovative vehicle feature concepts through hands-on prototype development, vehicle integration, and testing. Design and fabricate proof-of-concept solutions using mechanical engineering, electrical system integration, CAD design, 3D printing, CNC machining, and rapid prototyping technologies. Support innovation projects through supplier development, competitor benchmarking, and technical problem-solving. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to accelerate component development, validation, and implementation of state-of-the-art vehicle solutions.
- Evaluate, Realize and validate innovative concepts for vehicle features, user experiences, and software-defined vehicle capabilities.
- Design, build, integrate, and test end-to-end proof-of-concept prototypes in real or simulated vehicle environments to demonstrate technical feasibility and user value.
- Conduct component-level testing, identify root causes, and propose effective technical solutions in vehicle-based environments to ensure integration progress and quality.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and product teams to align proof-of-concept development with technical requirements and business roadmaps.
- Define validation criteria, document prototype findings, and prepare technical materials and presentations for stakeholders and decision-making support.
- Identify and document patentable ideas, novel implementations, and opportunities for innovation during the prototype and validation process.
