About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Advisor, Human Resources (HR), the Advisor, Human Resources is responsible for leading and assisting with a broad range of HR services. You will be a key figure supporting internal operations and have the opportunity to build relationships with employees across diverse departments and at all levels of the business.
To be successful, we are looking for someone who is flexible and calm and uses those attributes to navigate completing tasks, tight deadlines, and changes. The right candidate will have a broad experience in human resources and the ability to perform with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

In this role you will:
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Provide coaching and resources to employees and supervisors with respect to career development, compensation, recruiting, performance management and employee relations
- Navigate through various labour relations issues
- Investigate employee relations issues including employee matters and performance issues while maintaining confidentiality, consistency, and sensitivity
- Support and participate in the disability management process
- Provide support for the People Central Performance and Development programs and the Human Resources Information System
- Generate regular and ad hoc reports on specific HR metrics
- Facilitate supervisor development workshops on HR topics
- Degree in Human Resources, Business or Organizational Development or equivalent
- Minimum six years of Human Resources
- Experience in unionized work environment is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
Salary range: 96,000 - 112,600 CAD /year
