Aerospace Technical Writer
Core Responsibilities
· Create and update manuals such as maintenance manuals and illustrated parts catalogs.
· Translate engineering data from CAD models, test results, and specifications into readable documentation.
· Produce visual aids like diagrams, schematics, and illustrations to support written content.
· Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulations, including AS9100, FAA and EASA requirements.
· Review and revise existing documentation to maintain accuracy and reflect design changes or updates.
· Adapt technical content for non-technical audiences when needed, such as for press releases or promotional materials.
· Must possess a combination of technical aptitude and strong writing skills.
· Must understand complex mechanical, electrical, and aerospace systems, and interpret engineering drawings,
and apply industry-specific terminology accurately.
