Aerospace Technician (Lab)
Summary
Performs metallurgical lab sample prep, inspection, and QA tasks in an aerospace MRO environment, using measuring tools and interpreting GD&T drawings.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform metallurgical laboratory sample preparation, sample evaluation and generate evaluation report.
- Perform incoming inspection of direct/indirect material.
- Maintaining lab consumables/spare parts inventory.
- Perform 6S housekeeping.
- Assist in calibration and archiving of records.
- Assist Quality Engineer and carry out other QA functions as required.
Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in MRO QA environment.
- Proficient in the use of measuring tools such as Caliper and Micrometer.
- Basic understanding of interpreting GD&T drawing.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Able to multitask to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Prior laboratory experience.
- CCL certificate will be an added advantage.
