AES - DE - DevOps - Azure DevOps
Summary
This role involves managing enterprise CI/CD platforms and DevOps workflows using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Terraform. The candidate will support containerized environments, implement DevSecOps practices, and leverage AI-assisted tools to optimize cloud infrastructure and development processes.
- 7+ years of hands-on DevOps experience with strong ownership of enterprise CI/CD platforms.
- Deep experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub, including pipeline design, automation, repository governance, branching strategies, and release management.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and experience supporting Azure-hosted and on-premises environments.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, compliance controls, IAM/RBAC, and governance within CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language: PowerShell, Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience supporting containerized workloads and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, observability, and operational support of DevOps platforms.
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and interest in applying AI/automation to DevOps workflows.
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization (FinOps) concepts and cost-aware engineering practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with development, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale platform modernization or migration initiatives (e.g., Azure DevOps to GitHub).
- Experience creating reusable pipeline templates, developer enablement frameworks, and enterprise DevOps standards.
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400), Kubernetes certifications (CKA), or FinOps certification are a plus.
