AES - DE - FS - DOTNET Full-Stack Microservices
The .NET/SQL Developer provides end-to-end technical support across application development, database management, data integration, batch processing, and cloud-based integration services. The role requires strong expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, SQL Server, SSIS, Control-M scheduling, and Azure Integration Services.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, infrastructure teams, and support teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions. The role involves both project delivery and production support responsibilities, ensuring applications and integrations perform efficiently across multiple environments.
Application Development & Maintenance
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using:
- C#
- ASP.NET MVC/Web API
- .NET Framework
- .NET Core / .NET 8+
- Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable application components.
- Implement secure coding standards and application best practices.
- Participate in technical design discussions, impact assessments, and solution reviews.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and SOAP-based services.
SQL Server Development & Database Management
- Design, develop, and support Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Create and maintain:
- Stored Procedures
- Functions
- Views
- Triggers
- Complex SQL Queries
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
- Support database deployments, upgrades, and data migrations.
- Analyze and resolve database performance bottlenecks and data-related issues.
SSIS Development & ETL Support
- Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for:
- Data migration
- Data transformation
- Data validation
- Data integration
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes and data workflows.
- Implement error handling, logging, auditing, and reconciliation processes within ETL solutions.
- Optimize ETL performance for large-volume data processing.
Control-M Job Scheduling & Batch Processing
- Monitor, schedule, and support Control-M jobs and batch processing workflows.
- Investigate and resolve job failures, scheduling issues, and performance concerns.
- Perform root cause analysis of production incidents related to overnight processing and batch executions.
- Ensure timely execution and adherence to operational SLAs.
- Create and maintain operational support documentation and runbooks.
Azure Integration & API Management
- Design and implement integrations using:
- Azure Functions
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Service Bus
- Azure Event Grid
- Configure and manage Azure API Management (APIM).
- Implement secure API integrations and governance policies.
- Develop event-driven and messaging-based integration solutions.
- Support API lifecycle management, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Production Support & Incident Management
- Act as a key contributor in application and production support activities.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and application defects.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and business support teams to resolve complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with defined SLAs and operational standards.
DevOps, Quality & Technical Governance
- Utilize Azure DevOps for:
- Source Control
- CI/CD Pipelines
- Release Management
- Agile Project Delivery
- Participate in peer reviews and code quality assessments.
- Enforce coding standards, security guidelines, and development best practices.
- Support deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, project managers, and support teams.
- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, estimation, and planning activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when required.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in .NET application development, SQL Server, Azure integrations, and enterprise application support.
- Microsoft certifications such as Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) are preferred (not mandatory)
- Relevant certifications or experience in SQL Server, Data Integration, and Azure Integration Services (APIM, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid) will be an added advantage.
