ABOUT SHARKNINJA

Our mission to positively impact people's lives every day in every home around the world allows our employees to be thinkers and tinkerers, designers and doers, creators and number crunchers, makers of things they love.

SharkNinja APAC is expanding and scaling rapidly. Our two brands, Shark and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth over the past five years, driven by a very strong innovation pipeline across both brands. Building on that success, SharkNinja APAC has embarked on a bold plan for growth in which Singapore and Malaysia play a critical role. We have taken these markets back from our distributors so that we can run them directly and drive strong growth behind innovation and investment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Affiliate Manager owns one of our highest-potential and least-built growth levers. Affiliate and creator-led selling now drives a material share of category volume on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop, and we are under-indexed. You will run a very large network of affiliates and be accountable for a major share of revenue on each platform — Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop — with affiliate reaching 50% of platform revenue overall.

This is a commercial role wearing a relationship role's clothing. You will recruit and manage a large external population of creators and affiliates, but you will be measured on contribution: revenue generated, commission paid, margin retained and the incremental value of the programme over what would have sold anyway.

You will design the commission architecture that decides which products creators push and at what margin. You will build the recruitment engine that grows the network. You will run the events, seeding and activation calendar that keeps it alive. And you will manage performance honestly — a creator network is only as good as its willingness to remove the people who do not perform.

Affiliate does not operate alone. You will work in lockstep with Performance Marketing, Social Commerce and the Key Account Manager so we are not paying twice for the same conversion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Own affiliate contribution, not affiliate revenue

  • Own the affiliate P&L: revenue generated, commission cost, discount cost, seeding cost and the resulting contribution.

  • Build the measurement that separates incremental affiliate sales from sales we would have made anyway.

  • Work with Performance Marketing to build a shared view of cost per acquired customer, so paid and affiliate do not double-pay for one conversion.

  • Report contribution weekly into the trading rhythm with a recommendation attached.

2. Design the commission architecture

This is the single most important lever you own. Commission decides what creators sell.

  • Design the commission and incentive structure by product, category and tier so that creators are motivated to push the SKUs and margins we want to move.

  • Set commission rates by platform with the Key Account Manager, within the margin floor — you own the recommendation and the outcome.

  • Build tiering that rewards performance and retention rather than paying everyone the same.

  • Model the margin impact of every commission change before it goes live, and review it against actual outcomes afterwards.

  • Hold the line on commission inflation — the easiest way to grow affiliate revenue is to overpay for it.

3. Build and grow the creator network

  • Recruit and onboard 100+ new affiliates every month, systematically across Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop — by category, audience, format and performance tier, including from competitor and adjacent pools.

  • Build an onboarding and certification standard so creators represent SharkNinja products accurately and on-brand.

  • Run seeding and product allocation commercially: who gets what, why, and what we expect back.

  • Retain the performers. Build genuine relationships with the top tier — they have options.

4. Run the activation calendar

  • Plan and execute affiliate events, creator activations, live collaborations and campaign moments against the trading and NPD calendar.

  • Drive affiliate participation in every major platform campaign and peak moment.

  • Brief creators properly: the hook, the proof point, the offer and the call to action — not just the product.

  • Review every activation within a week and feed the learning into the next one.

5. Manage performance honestly

  • Set clear performance expectations by tier and track them — sales generated, conversion, content output and consistency.

  • Deal with underperformance: coach, re-tier or remove. A network full of inactive creators is a cost, not an asset.

  • Protect the brand: monitor claims, pricing, content quality and compliance. Confident, vibrant, accessible and clever — never loud, goofy or simplistic.

  • Escalate and act on brand or price violations quickly.

6. Build for both markets

  • Share performers, formats and mechanics that work across the border rather than rebuilding them.

  • Contribute to the SGMY affiliate governance owned by the Head of Digital Commerce.

7. Connect the ecosystem and run it as one organised operation

  • Work with the Key Account Manager and the Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop teams to secure affiliate funding, campaign slots, commission programmes and visibility on every platform.

  • Manage affiliate agencies and networks as an extension of your team: clear briefs, targets, commercial terms and weekly performance reviews.

  • Run a structured operating rhythm — weekly pipeline, onboarding, activation and contribution review — so 100+ new affiliates a month are recruited, onboarded and activated without quality slipping.

  • Build, with the Ops Executive, the processes, templates and tools that let one person manage a very large network: standard onboarding, tiering, briefing, seeding and payout workflows.

  • Prioritise ruthlessly. As the only affiliate owner in market, decide what to run in-house, what to delegate to agencies and what to stop, to stay on track for 50% of platform revenue.

EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITIES

Essential

  • 5+ years in affiliate marketing, creator or influencer commerce, or e-commerce partnerships, with direct revenue accountability.

  • Demonstrable evidence of building, not inheriting. You have built a creator network, an affiliate programme or a commission structure that did not exist — with a clear before, build and result.

  • Commercial command of commission economics. You can model the margin impact of a commission change and defend it, not just negotiate a rate.

  • Live, current creator and affiliate relationships in the market, and credibility with them.

  • Evidence of managing performance in a creator network — including re-tiering or removing people who were not delivering.

  • Platform fluency across Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop in how affiliate mechanics, attribution windows and commission funding actually work.

  • Proven ability to work across Key Account Managers, platform teams and agencies, and to run a high-volume programme (100+ new affiliates a month) through organised process and commercial discipline, largely single-handed.

  • Strong analytical ability — comfortable in a spreadsheet, not reliant on a dashboard someone else built.

  • Fluency in English and the creator languages of the market (Bahasa Malaysia in Malaysia); Mandarin an advantage for creator management.

Experience might get you the interview. Mindset is what sets you apart.
