Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Functional Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through manual and functional testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and functional testing of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create effective test cases.

  • Identify, document, and track bugs to closure.

  • Conduct regression testing, system integration testing, and UAT support.

  • Develop and maintain reusable test cases and test data.

  • Work with automation teams, leveraging Java/Python for test scripting where required.

  • Ensure compliance with QA best practices and processes.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong experience in Manual Testing and Functional Testing.

  • Hands-on knowledge of Java or Python.

  • Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.

  • Experience in writing clear test cases, bug reports, and documentation.

  • Ability to analyze requirements and identify test scenarios effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to automation testing frameworks is a plus.

  • Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container-based environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Qualifications

  • B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 4–5 years of experience in QA/Functional Testing roles.
