• African or Caribbean nationality and a strong interest in contributing to Africa’s economic and trade development.
• Willingness to relocate to one of Afreximbank’s locations across Africa or the Caribbean, depending on future career opportunities.
• Relevant academic qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, International Trade, Technology, Engineering, Human Resources or related disciplines.
• Strong professional experience within banking, development finance, financial services, investment, trade, technology, consulting, professional services, multinational organisations or related sectors.
• International, emerging-market or African market experience would be advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required. Additional proficiency in French, Portuguese or Arabic is highly desirable.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend in-person half-day sessions in Trinidad and Tobago, which include engagement with Afreximbank’s HR leadership and senior recruitment managers, a strategic presentation, networking, and an individual interview.

African or Caribbean professionals
Mid- to senior-career professionals (typically 5–15+ years’ experience)
Proven track record in specialist or leadership roles

Fluency in English (French, Portuguese, or Arabic is highly preferred)
