After School Care Teacher / Student Care Teacher
Summary
Teaches and supervises primary school students in after-school care, focusing on homework, enrichment activities, and subject-specific coaching in English, Math, or Science.
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Student Care Teacher (Subject Specialist) to join our team.
Working Locations: North, West, East & Central (All of the centres are near MRT stations)
Working Hours: 9.30am - 6.30pm or 10.15am - 7.15pm (Mon - Fri) (Sat: Half-day)
Benefits: AWS + Yearly Increments + Medical
Gross Salary: $3500 (Basic up to $3200)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students during after-school hours
- Guide students in their daily homework and spelling revision
- Plan and conduct enrichment activities to support holistic development
- Deliver subject-specific coaching (e.g. English, Mathematics, or Science) to strengthen students’ academic performance
- Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, and assessments aligned with MOE syllabus
- Monitor and track students’ academic progress and provide feedback to parents
- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment
- Perform administrative duties related to student care operations
Requirements:
- Diploma in any discipline (Education or related field preferred)
- Strong foundation in at least one core subject (English, Mathematics, or Science)
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Patient, nurturing, and able to engage young learners
- Relevant experience in teaching or student care is an advantage
