Lake Lawn Resort is seeking an experienced Afternoon Engineering Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our resort facilities during the afternoon and evening hours. This hands-on leadership position works closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure our buildings, grounds, guest rooms, and mechanical systems are safe, efficient, and operating at the highest standards.

What You'll Do
As the Afternoon Engineering Manager, you will help oversee the daily operation of the Engineering Department while providing leadership and technical support throughout the resort.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in managing daily engineering operations across the resort.
- Supervise, train, coach, and support the engineering team.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building systems.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests with exceptional customer service.
- Assist with capital improvement projects, renovations, and facility upgrades.
- Help ensure compliance with OSHA, safety regulations, fire prevention programs, and environmental standards.
- Monitor inventory, equipment, tools, and maintenance supplies.
- Assist with scheduling staff and assigning daily work priorities.
- Maintain engineering operations at both the resort and employee housing facilities.
- Communicate regularly with the Chief Engineer regarding department operations and property needs.
- Serve as Manager on Duty when assigned.
- Perform other engineering and maintenance duties as needed to support resort operations.
