Summary

Provides on-site technical support, maintenance, and training for solar PV and hybrid energy systems to ensure uptime and customer satisfaction.

The Aftersales Technical Engineer will be responsible for providing post-installation technical support, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and customer training to ensure the optimal performance of the Company's renewable energy systems.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experience while ensuring maximum system uptime.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support to customers on installed solar PV and hybrid energy systems.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on solar PV systems, batteries, inverters, and associated electrical equipment.
Diagnose and resolve technical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
Commission newly installed renewable energy systems and verify operational performance.
Conduct routine site inspections and system performance assessments.
Prepare comprehensive service reports after every maintenance visit.
Train customers on the safe operation and maintenance of installed systems.
Maintain accurate service records, spare parts inventory, and customer service history.
Escalate complex technical issues and recommend long-term corrective actions.
Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and electrical safety standards.
Participate in continuous technical training and product knowledge development.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
2 - 4 years' practical experience in solar PV installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Good knowledge of Solar PV Systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hybrid energy systems, inverters, and charge controllers.
Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project locations.
