Agent Recruiter

We are looking for an experienced Agent Recruiter for a payments provider with a broad offering across merchant processing, integrated payments, and business financing, serving businesses across a range of industries. This role is responsible for recruiting and onboarding independent sales agents and ISO partners to build a productive partner network. The focus is agent recruitment and channel growth, not direct merchant sales.

What You Will Do

• Identify and recruit experienced independent sales agents and ISO partners within merchant services.
• Manage the recruiting process from initial outreach through qualification, agreement execution, and onboarding.
• Build relationships with payments professionals through direct outreach, referrals, and industry networking.
• Explain the agent program, including residual compensation, payment technology, merchant solutions, and partner support.
• Work with leadership and internal teams to coordinate partner onboarding.
• Maintain an organized recruiting pipeline and report on qualified prospects, onboarded partners, merchant activations, and retention.

What You Bring

• Successful experience recruiting independent agents or ISO partners within merchant services or payment processing.
• A demonstrated record of recruiting agents who generate active merchant accounts and ongoing production.
• An established professional network within merchant services or payments.
• Working knowledge of residuals, agent revenue splits, merchant pricing, and payment processing technology.
• Familiarity with merchant underwriting, account boarding, and agent support requirements.
• Strong prospecting and relationship management skills, including experience qualifying prospective partners and negotiating agreements.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining accurate recruiting and production reports.
• Previous experience in agent recruiting, ISO channel management, or merchant services sales leadership preferred.
• Experience recruiting and supporting a national network of independent 1099 sales agents preferred.
• Experience working with ISOs, processors, sponsor banks, gateways, point-of-sale providers, or acquiring platforms preferred.
