Our client is building AI-native data infrastructure and intelligence products for the financial services sector

In this role, you will design the end-to-end environment that AI coding agents operate within. Defining agent skills, architecture, automated test suites, and evals that turn agentic output into rock-solid production software for global financial markets.

We are looking for an engineer with deep systems thinking, an uncompromising testing discipline, and the vision to establish architectural guardrails that allow autonomous agent teams to move fast safely.

To make sparks fly, you will have:

• Proven full-stack experience with real data depth across Python, JavaScript, SQL, data modelling, and AWS.
• Direct experience shipping production software substantially generated by AI agents, with a clear understanding of workflows, guardrails, and failure modes.
• Strong Systems Architecture: Demonstrated ability to map complex systems (boundaries, invariants, data flows, trade-offs) using modular design and clear contracts.
• A self starter mindset with the ability to initiate high-impact solutions independently, and seeing them through to delivery.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

• Hands-on experience designing agent skills, Model Context Protocol (MCP) tooling, or prompts used across engineering teams.
• Experience with LLM tracing and evals (e.g., Langfuse).
• Knowledge of data platforms like Iceberg, ClickHouse, or Apache Spark, alongside React or Kubernetes.
• Exposure to financial markets, market data, or agent security around sensitive data.
