Agile Coach (SAFe) – Enterprise Agile Transformation

Location: Lisbon - Portugal (Hybrid / International Travel Required)
Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 CET
Start Date: TBC

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach (SAFe) to lead and support a large-scale enterprise agile transformation across multiple business units and geographies. This role is critical in driving the adoption of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), ensuring strong alignment between business and IT, and enabling synchronized delivery, improved portfolio visibility, and a sustainable agile culture.

Main Responsibilities

SAFe Implementation & Transformation

  • Design and execute the SAFe implementation roadmap across the organization.

  • Lead the launch of Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

  • Facilitate PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt, and other key SAFe ceremonies.

  • Support the adoption of Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) practices.

Business Engagement & Alignment

  • Engage with business stakeholders and leadership to drive transformation.

  • Align business objectives with agile delivery frameworks.

  • Break down silos between business and IT teams.

Coaching & Enablement

  • Coach stakeholders at all levels (executives, management, delivery teams).

  • Facilitate workshops and agile ceremonies.

  • Build and sustain communities of practice.

Governance, Tools & Metrics

  • Support the implementation and usage of Triskell (PPM tool) for portfolio visibility and capacity planning.

  • Monitor and improve agile metrics such as predictability and flow efficiency.

Change Management & Leadership

  • Act as a change agent, driving cultural transformation across entities.

  • Address resistance and support the adoption of agile ways of working.

Innovation & Sustainability

  • Promote the use of AI in agile delivery processes (artefacts, automation, insights).

  • Integrate RSE / Green IT practices into delivery models.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing SAFe at the enterprise level.

  • Proven experience launching ARTs and facilitating PI Planning.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management and governance models.

  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or Advanced SPC (A-SPC) certification.

Nice to Have

  • RTE (Release Train Engineer) certification.

  • POPM (Product Owner / Product Manager) certification.

  • LPM (Lean Portfolio Management) certification.
