Supports the use of agile principles, frameworks, practices, and tools. Acts as servant leader at the team, program, and platform levels. Facilitates ceremonies and events that enable delivery of products and services to customers in a predictable cadence. Onboards agile roles and builds fluency to enable the delivery model.

Job Description

The Scrum Master is a servant leader and coach for the Product Team. They help educate the team in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, ensuring that the agreed Agile process is followed. They also help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

· Facilitate and champion the agile methodology by coaching and mentoring development teams and promoting the use of standards and best practices.

· Coach the team to improve collaboration and self-management, promoting healthy interactions both within the team and with external stakeholders.

· Facilitate the identification and removal of impediments to the team’s progress and focus on eliminating waste and delays.

· As a servant leader, promote adoption of an agile mindset through teaching, mentoring, and coaching.

· Ensure the team is utilizing Scrum/SAFe ceremonies effectively to maximize value delivery and facilitates Scrum ceremonies.

· Represent the team at broader planning and coordination sessions (e.g., Scrum of Scrums).

· Actively participate in learning opportunities such as communities of practice or conferences to improve skills and better support the team.

· Contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization.

Agile - Experience working with Scrum Teams and Agile Release Trains. Clear understanding of Scrum and SAFe frameworks. Possess coaching, servant leadership and Agile mindset. Collaboration and teamwork skills.

Technical Competencies - Strong analytical skills. Experience using Azure Devops (ADO).
