Agricultural Machinery Mechanic

About the role

Currently, a company located in Valls (Tarragona) is looking for a mechanic with the mission of providing
after-sales service.
The company is looking for a proactive person, with a positive attitude oriented
towards results and with a desire to grow professionally.

Main functions:
Performing repairs and diagnostics of agricultural equipment (tractors, harvesting
and cultivation equipment, precision agriculture equipment...), as well as the
corrective and preventive maintenance of the equipment.
Configuration and preparation of new or used equipment, ensuring
optimal delivery to the client.
Completing reports and administrative procedures corresponding to each
workshop task (work sheet, technical communication with manufacturers,
time sheet...).
Assisting with tasks related to the general organization of the workshop, the
tools and vehicles, as well as keeping the work area clean.
Complying with the safety standards established in all tasks.

Requirements:
Two years minimum experience in the repair of agricultural or industrial equipment.
Training in CFGM or CFGS in electromechanical maintenance, Training in CFGM or CFGS in electromechanical maintenance, mechanization, electrical installations, automotive, industrial mechatronics, mechanization, electrical installations, automotive.
Having forklift license training or similar is valued.
Ability to diagnose, diagnose, perform repairs and maintenance tasks with specialized tools and equipment
Advanced knowledge in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural machinery
Knowledge in TIG welding, oxy-fuel cutting or wire welding is valued.
Possessing a B driving license to perform maintenance and repairs outside the workshop.
Ability to use computer applications
Ability to work in a team and communication skills.

Offered:
Indefinite full-time contract.

How you'll work

• From 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (30 minutes of rest).
• From 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
• If a person wants to always work a split shift, there is no problem.
